KENNY THOMSON & the WARDLAW SDB

Kenny, from Muirkirk now living in Cumnock Ayrshire, formed the Wardlaw Band out of the Ronnie Easton Band when Ronnie left Scotland back in 1979. The band line-up these days is Kenny on Lead with his brother Stuart on 2nd Accordion, Jim Clark on Piano , Suzanne Croy on Bass and Alex Wilson on Drums.
Over the years since 1980 the band have appeared on BBC Radio Scotland's Take the Floor many time. They play for country dancing all over the UK and beyond, having visited Europe a number of times.
A very popular Scottish Country dance band who have albums not only on the Bryansroom label but recorded 'Double First' for Ayrespin Musi in 1980 followed by a number of albums for the Royal Scottish Country Dance Society on their own label.
A CELEBRATION FOR KENNY THOMSON

A dozen or so of Scotland's top Scottish Dance Band Musicians met in Troon Concert Hall and performed in different line ups at the Monday Night Summer Dancing run by Ayr Branch of the RSCDS.

A brilliant night with over 200 dancers and 70 spectators was had by all.

The chosen charity - Combat Stress - benefited by a final sum of £1050 collected from Musicians fees, CD sales and general donations.
